Begun in 1927 with a cupola cabin, a 35' L-4 tower was built in 1935. In 1956, a 41' treated timber tower with L-4 cab was constructed. A flat roof was added in the early 1980's. There was also a 35' platform tower on the actual summit at 5618'. The tower was removed by FFLA's Gary Weber in 2001.
