This 1930 L-4 cab is the only remaining example of its type in the Priest Lake area. It escaped being destroyed in the 1960's due to its remote location and questions of ownership, as it had been staffed by the Sullivan Lake Ranger District, as part of their administration of a small corner of the Priest Lake district. The cabin has been repaired in recent years and is open to public use. It is listed on the National Historic Lookout Register.
