Huckleberry was first developed in 1924 with a 10' pole platform and log cabin living quarters. They burned in a 1929 forest fire and replaced in 1931 with a 2-story NPS frame cabin. It burned in a 1967 forest fire, replaced by the present 2-story NPS frame cabin in 1968. It is available for emergencies. |
