Developed in 1918 with an open-sided cupola shelter, a 10x10' "Firechaser" frame cabin with 29' 3rd story observatory replaced it in 1928. The present 20' treated timber tower with R-6 flat cab, built in 1958, is currently available on the Recreation Rental program.
