Developed about 1915 with a 20' platform tower, a D-6 cupola replaced it in 1924. An Aircraft Warning Service cabin was built in 1942. The present 10' treated timber L-4 tower, built in 1952, was staffed into the 1990's. It was made available on the Recreation Rental program, but staffed again in 2007.
