Established in the 1920's with a camp and a tree platform, a 40' L-4 tower replaced it in 1933. The present 41' treated timber tower with ODF live-in cab, built in 1961, was being staffed until recently. Structure inspections revealed dry rot in the tower, resulting in it being burned to the ground November 20th, 2006.
