This 32' wooden L-4 tower, built in 1954, was abandoned in 1972. The tower legs came from one 32' red cedar log sliced into quarters and hewed square. All the cables, bolts, stairs and the cab were parts from other Lincoln FPA towers. How's that for recycling?
