BALD MOUNTAIN LOOKOUT
R.I.P. 1931-1955
This 44' light steel tower along with an accompanying log cabin, built in 1931, were replaced by a 38' L-4 tower 1 mile southeast of the summit in 1955. It was destroyed in 1972. There was also a patrol point 2 miles west.
