BAW FAW (BOISTFORT) LOOKOUT
R.I.P. 1919-1960?; 1960-?
This 15x18' shake cabin with a 1/4 sized second floor observatory, built in 1919, likely remained in use as living quarters after an 82' treated timber tower with 7x7' cab was built in 1936. It was shortened to 55' feet in 1960 and a live-in DNR cab was placed on top. The site was abandoned entirely in 1967.
