DAYTON PEAK LOOKOUT
R.I.P. 1944-1964
This AWS cabin, moved here in 1944 from Lost Lake Hills, had a 12x12' second story observatory added to the top. The building was replaced in 1964 with a standard 40' timber live-in DNR tower 1/2 mile southeast, which was abruptly removed in 1969.
