SQUALLY JIM LOOKOUT
R.I.P. 1942-1955; 1954-1962
First used in 1942 with an 83' wooden tower with 7x7' cab and accompanying AWS "smokehouse" living quarters, a 40' wooden live-in was built in 1954. It was destroyed by the 1962 Columbus Day hurricane, replaced by an identical tower the same year, only to be destroyed by the state in 1968.
