TED GILBERT LOOKOUT
R.I.P. 1963-1977
Built in 1963 to replace nearly Elk Rock Lookout, this 40' wooden DNR live-in tower, named for a retired Weyerhaeuser employee, was sold to and removed by a private party in 1977, three years prior to the eruption of nearby Mount Saint Helens.
